Prom 2011

Daughter 2.0 and her boyfriend Ryan are attending the prom together this year. This is his senior prom and her junior prom. Much to D2.0's dismay, I picked the dress. She isn't happy with it. She's not a fan of pink and wanted something long, slinky and backless. I told her that she can choose next year. We'll see who does better.
Aside from the dress controversy, they do make an adorable couple, don't you think?

The high school hosts a big party after prom called Post Prom. The idea is to provide something fun to do that keeps the students out of trouble. This year Post Prom was at Acres of Fun. This place has mini-golf, go-karts, laser tag, roller skating, and lots of video games. They also bring in photo booths, a cash tornado and a mechanical bull. The entire place is free for prom-goers from midnight to 3am. Dominoes provided a ton of food. With all of this fun, who would want to go to prom?

Margo had a great time playing ddr on the arcade machine for free. Catherine got shot up in laser tag and rode the mechanical bull four times. The coolest thing was when Patrick got picked to spend thirty seconds in the cash tornado. He won over fifty bucks. Here is a video of the cash winning action-
